Children's Glen

There are many fun things to do at the Cambridge Scottish Festival. Join us at the Bouncy Castle and slide for lots of fun and excitement.

New this year is a miniature train which will host rides around the park. In the area of athletics, we will have a scaled-down version of the "pint size telephone pole" or Caber toss, and the Hammer Throw.  There will also be demonstration of dance, bag pipping and a story teller.

About Cambridge Scottish Festival

Highland Games have been taking place for hundreds of years. Originally, these events were organized to keep men in good physical condition so that they were prepared in times of war. Throughout the years, the Highland Games became a great way to spend time with family, enjoy the pipes and drums as well was compete in competitions. Today, we keep that part of Scottish heritage alive and well.
